The rose hip is the fruit (sometimes called rose haws) from the Dog Rose, and is known for its high Vitamin C level. Seedless rose hips are recommended for herbal teas and tea blending over whole rose hips. A small amount of seeds may still be present.
Tea: Steep 1 Tablespoon in hot water for 5 - 10 minutes
Infusions: Combine with carrier oil or honey
Aromatherapy: Add to water bath or potpourri
Tinctures: Soak in suitable medium for several weeks (faster with use of double boiler)
